Cool night gives way to a warm-up Wednesday

Posted: Updated:

An upper-level low is lifting out of northern California and as it does so offshore low will develop.  Most of the offshore winds will be moderate peaking under 20mph but each afternoon the winds will turn back to the NW and those winds could be as strong as 20 to 25mph.  The flow should keep skies clear.

Over the next few days, the beaches will be in the 70s with the coastal valleys in the 80s warming into the 90s to close the week.  Inland highs will be in the 80s warming into the 90s as we approach the weekend.  Weekend temps may cool to the upper 80s but a larger cool-down holds off until the midpoint of next week.

This is a dry pattern.
