The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office has identified the woman found dead this weekend in the Santa Maria Riverbed as Lucinda Marie Gouin, 47, of Santa Maria.

The sheriff's office says an autopsy conducted Wednesday found no physical trauma on her body. Her cause and manner of death are pending toxicology and lab results.

Investigators spent Monday searching the riverbed for evidence after Gouin's body was reportedly discovered at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1.

Sheriff's officials say the investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is continuing.

Gouin reportedly also has ties to Louisiana and San Luis Obispo County.
