No. Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table Athletes of the Week

Posted: Updated:

Brock Marcois from St. Joseph and Sierra Hohimer from Cabrillo were honored as the Northern Santa Barbara County Athletic Round Table Athletes of the Week Monday afternoon.

Marcois is a freshman football kicker and broke his own school record with eleven point-after-tries during the Knight's 77-10 win against Cabrillo during Week 6. He had broken the school record a week prior with 10 PAT's.

"It's really crazy to break it," Marcois said. "It's on my teammates too, they have to get the snap down and make holds, it's really them helping me."

This is the second straight week the Knights were honored with the award.

This is also Hohimer's second time this school year to earn the honor. She went a combined 6-0 in sets for the Conquistadores last week. "I would hit and it would go where I would like it to. I felt very calm," Hohimer said.
