Winds pick up again tomorrow

Posted: Updated:

A dry cold front will is pushing thru the Central Coast.  Winds will switch from the southerly winds of today to NW winds on Wednesday.  Those winds could be as strong as 15-30mph at the coast in the afternoon.  Temps will cool as a result into the 70s near the coast and coastal valleys to around 80 inland.

Thursday and Friday we'll get back to the pattern of morning offshore winds with afternoon onshore winds.  Temp come back up a bit a couple degrees at the coast while inland temps drop into the upper 70s.

Skies will be mostly clear.

Some models have hinted at rain about a week from now, but right now I think that cold front looks to fall apart before getting here.  Something to watch, but even if it did rain it looks light.
