A breast milk drive was held Wednesday to help mothers and premature babies.
The Central Coast Breastfeeding Coalition hosted the drive at French Hospital Medical Center in San Luis Obispo.
The drive supports the San Jose Mother's Milk Bank. The bank provides breast milk for babies whose mothers can't produce enough milk.
"I really just wanted to share the love, I guess," said donor Heather Decater. "You can't get it other than having people willing to make it and give it."
On Wednesday, 13 women donated 1,200 ounces of milk.
Mother's Milk Bank will be hosting another breast milk drive on Friday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the women's service conference room of the Cottage Children's Medical Center in Santa Barbara.
