Todd Fisher lists Creston ranch, production facility for $4.2 million

Posted: Updated:

A piece of Hollywood in San Luis Obispo County is now for sale.

Todd Fisher, the brother of the late Carrie Fisher and son of the late Debbie Reynolds, is moving out.

The family's ranch, Freedom Farms in Creston, is listed at $4.2 million.

Mr. Fisher owns the 44-acre ranch, which features a six-bedroom, five-bathroom home as well as a guest house and two caretakers quarters.

There are two large metal buildings at Freedom Ranch. One building houses offices, a warehouse, and workshops; the other was known as Sound Stage 32, a production facility with sets, high-end cameras, lighting, and other equipment used by Fisher's production company, Hollywood Motion Picture Experience.

The ranch and production equipment were part of an auction of memorabilia and personal property of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher.

The auction took place this past weekend. Reynolds' famed North Hollywood dance studio sold for $6.1 million before the auction.

The ranch did not sell at auction and was subsequently listed on the MLS.

Freedom Farms also boasts a custom theater, library, gym, aviary, elevator, large deck with pool, spring-fed pond, equestrian barn, irrigated pastures, RV hook-ups, solar power facility, four wells, 25,000 gallons of water storage tanks, power generators, and vineyard views.

The selling of the family estate comes about nine months after the deaths of Mr. Fisher's sister and mother.

Carrie Fisher died on Dec. 27, 2016, at age 60. Debbie Reynolds died the next day. She was 84.
