Posted: Updated:

The annual Season of Hope food and toy drive kicked off on Monday.

From now through Friday, Dec. 15, KSBY and its community partners will be collecting non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys for families in need on the Central Coast.

Donations can be dropped off at any fire station in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara counties and at Coastal Communities Physician Network offices, Pacific Premier Bank locations, R&R Furniture and Mattress locations, San Luis Bay Motors Kia in Paso Robles, Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo, Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, and Idler's Home stores.

KSBY is partnering with The Salvation Army, Food Bank Coalition of San Luis Obispo County, Foodbank of Santa Barbara County, Unity Shoppe, Toys for Tots, Operation Santa Claus, and Catholic Charities to distribute the food and toys that are collected during the drive.

All donations will remain on the Central Coast.
