Posted: Updated:

More than 43,000 fans at a sellout crowd during Game 4 of the 2017 World Series at Minute Maid Park between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Houston Astros participated in the Stand Up To Cancer after the bottom of the fifth inning.

Fans, players, and coaches held a "I STAND FOR" placards with an area to personally write who they were supporting.

Dodgers' third baseman Justin Turner had written Ryan Teixeira #17Strong on his card.

Turner has been a strong supporter of Arroyo Grande native Ryan Teixeira since the two first met last Christmas.

The Stand Up To Cancer in-game moment has happened in every All-Star Game and in one game of every World Series since its debut in 2009 in Philadelphia. This was No. 17.
