Rain returns Thursday for some with more active pattern developing

Posted: Updated:

High clouds streamed over the coast on Monday with more offshore winds developing overnight into Tuesday for cool overnight conditions and mild afternoon highs on Tuesday, most locations near 70 with beaches a little cooler.

Wednesday more clouds arrive but temps shouldn't change much.

Thursday a cold front connected to a strong area of low pressure currently in the Gulf of Alaska will pass the coast into Thursday morning.  Rain doesn't look very heavy with light amounts up to about.20"

Friday looks dry and a little warmer.  Models are not in alignment on early next week, one model suggests another chance for widespread rain.  Something to watch for about a week from now.
