Authorities: Wanted felon may be in northern Santa Barbara County

Authorities are asking for help locating a felon they say has ties to parts of northern Santa Barbara County.

Gabriel Manuel Olivas, 33, is wanted for an outstanding felony no bail warrant, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say he has served time for being a felon in possession of a firearm with a prior conviction and is known to frequent the Oceano and Nipomo areas. 

He also reportedly has ties to Tanglewood, Santa Maria, and Guadalupe. 

Anyone who sees him is asked to not approach him, but to instead call (805) 681-4150.
