Weak cold front brings some showers

Posted: Updated:

As expected the north coast of SLO county saw the most rain with Rocky Butte topping .75" and Cambria around .25" however most locations in SLO county saw .10" or less with almost no reports across SB county.  This fall-off area was expected.

The front is falling apart in the evening but could still produce a sprinkle or light shower.  In the wake of the front stronger NW winds pick up Friday and Saturday 15-25 in the afternoons near the coast with partly cloudy skies.

Some forecasts show a chance for rain Monday and there is a front which slings across the area but right now I think it looks pretty weak, so I am keeping it out of the forecast but may include it later if models align better.

Beyond that most of next week looks seasonal with temps hovering in the 60s to about 70 across the area with partly cloudy skies.
