Lompoc City Manager Patrick Wiemiller announced Thursday that he will be leaving his position to take a position with the City of Santa Maria.

He's leaving to become the Assistant City Manager for Santa Maria.

Wiemiller said this about his four years with the City of Lompoc,  “I am grateful for the opportunity to have served a wonderful community in a city which I am blessed to not only have worked in, but also call my home,” Wiemiller said. He says he and his wife will continue to be a part of the Lompoc community.

There are still many details that the city is working out with Wiemiller, such as his final day of employment and who will fill in as Interim City Manager as they search for his replacement.
