Dozens of Christmas presents were dropped off at the California Highway Patrol's San Luis Obispo-area office this weekend.

The donation was made by the SLO Vettes corvette club of San Luis Obispo County.

The 40 present are for the CHP's CHiPs for Kids toy drive, which is now underway.

The toys will go to the Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast and be handed out to local children in need on Christmas Eve in Oceano, according to CHP.
