Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, DEC. 2

Watch a parade!
Parades will be held Saturday in Grover Beach, Solvang, Santa Maria, Morro Bay, and Paso Robles.

Jingle All The Way 5K
8 a.m.
5th Street between Crocker and Old County Road, Templeton
A family-friendly 5K and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run around Templeton Park. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers, plus prizes will be handed out for the most festive attire and an ugly sweater contest. Santa Claus will be in the gazebo at the park from 9-11 a.m.

Morro Bay Surfboard Art Festival Holiday Art Sale 
9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Inn at Morro Bay, 60 State Park Road
One custom surfboard art piece will be auctioned off every 30 minutes throughout the afternoon. Plus, shop handcrafted goods from nearly two dozen artists and taste local wines.

CAL FIRE Open House and Toy Drive
10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Morro Toro Station 14, Highway 41, Atascadero
Meet the firefighters, tour the fire station and check out the fire equipment. The crew will also be collecting donations of new, unwrapped toys for Operation Santa Claus and KSBY's Season of Hope.
Free event.

Gingerbread Wonderland
4 p.m. - 8 p.m.
St. Mark's-in-the-Valley Episcopal Church, 2901 Nojoqui Avenue, Los Olivos
More than 100 handmade gingerbread houses will be on display, all created by local schoolchildren, families, organizations, and businesses. Santa Claus will also be visiting, plus there will be live seasonal music and an arts and crafts area for children.
Free event.


SUNDAY, DEC. 3

Snow Leopard Festival
10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Santa Barbara Zoo, 500 Niños Drive
Eighty tons of snow will be delivered to the Santa Barbara Zoo for both kids and the animals to enjoy. There will be six sledding runs for the kids, plus snowman-making supplies, snow painting with watercolors, holiday and snow leopard-related crafts, face painting, and more. Kids can also meet with Santa Claus and visit the zoo's temporary reindeer exhibit.
Admission: $17 for adults, $13 for seniors 65+, $10 for children 2-12, children under 2 are free. Sledding tickets are $3/child.
