Lyft offers free rides for Thomas Fire, Creek Fire, Skirball Fire evacuees

Lyft, a ride-share company, is offering free rides to people evacuating from the Thomas Fire, Creek Fire, Skirball Fire and any other wildfire to designated evacuation centers. 

The rides are up to $40 free. 

Lyft drivers will take evacuees to these centers:

  • Ventura County Fairgrounds
  • Nordhoff High School
  • Oxnard College Gymnasium
  • Santa Paula Community Center
  • Fillmore Veterans Memorial
  • Santa Barbara Multi Activity Center
  • UCLA
  • Balboa Recreation Center
  • Van Nuys Recreation Center
  • Delano Park
  • Cheviot Hills Recreation Center

Lyft said it will continue to update the list as more centers open. 

If you don't have a way to get out, download the app and order a ride and use the code "LASAFERIDES" to get where you need to be.
