While conditions are slowly improving, there remains high fire danger due to the weather.
There are no official fire weather warnings or watches in San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara counties Wednesday, but Ventura and Los Angeles counties will remain under watches and warnings until Friday at 10:00 a.m.
Sunny and smoky conditions will continue at times along the Central Coast.
Highs will range from the lower 70s through the low 80s Wednesday afternoon with northeast winds around 15 mph.
Wednesday night brings clear skies and lows in the 30s and 40s. Winds will be fairly light.
Thursday, we'll see more sunshine. Highs will range from the 70s at the beaches to around 80-degrees inland.
The winds will continue to be lighter. However, with the dry conditions and warmer-than-normal afternoon temperatures, the fire danger will remain high.
The same general pattern will continue through Friday, but then a change for the weekend brings a change in wind direction with slightly cooler afternoon highs.
