Local SLO brewery donates cans of emergency drinking water to Montecito victims

Posted: Updated:

SLO Brew is using its canning line to package and deliver fresh drinking water to those affected by the mudslides.

The company will be working together with the red cross and unity shoppe to deliver the cans.

"Community is terribly important to us and um so when this disaster happened down in Montecito, said co-owner, Hamish Marshall, "a lot of our customer base is on the central coast and so we wanted to be able to help out as part of that community and do our best to help those in need."

SLO Brew along with Ernie ball donated five thousand dollars in response to the Thomas Fire. They will also be donating one dollar for every pint purchased at either of its San Luis Obispo locations on Saturday, January 20th.
