Huey Lewis & The News to headline Avila Beach Blues Festival

Huey Lewis & The News will headline the Avila Beach Blues Festival on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Shemekia Copeland will also take the stage at the Avila Beach Resort.

Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday, Jan. 19 at Boo Boo Records in San Luis Obispo and online at eventbrite.com.

Huey Lewis & The News are known for multiple hits during the 1980s and 90s, including "The Power of Love," "The Heart of Rock & Roll," "I Want a New Drug," and "Hip to be Square."
