Scott Daniels is co-anchor of KSBY’s morning show Daybreak as well as co-anchor of the news at 5pm. He joined the KSBY News team in November of 2015.

Scott comes to the Central Coast from Las Vegas where he was a reporter for CBS affiliate, KLAS-TV. Scott has covered some of the biggest, as well as strangest, stories in the country. He was the first reporter on-scene of The Las Vegas Strip Shootout that left three dead in 2013. A year later, he was the lead reporter during the deadliest police ambush in Las Vegas Metro's history. He interviewed Tea Party darling Cliven Bundy, knee-deep in the Virgin River as protests turned violent. Through his investigative reporting, Scott helped save Clark County in Nevada, tens of millions of tax dollars.

Through the years, Scott has reported for KRQE-TV in Albuquerque, NM and KALB-TV in Alexandria, LA.

Scott was born and raised in Roseville, California. He attended Granite Bay High School and went on to get his degree from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University.

He is a die-hard San Francisco Giants fan. Please say hi when you see him!
