Man of La Mancha
7:30 - 9:30 p.m. nightly
Cuesta College Cultural and Performing Arts Center, Highway 1, San Luis Obispo
The Cuesta College Theatre Arts Department presents the Tony Award-winning musical based on the 17th-century novel The Adventures of Don Quixote. The student cast has been recognized by the Kennedy Center as one of the outstanding productions in the country and proceeds from the performances will support student travel expenses to the Kennedy Center's American College Theatre Festival in Arizona.

California Western Monarch Day
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Monarch Butterfly Grove, 400 S. Dolliver St., Pismo Beach
Learn about the Monarch butterflies that call Pismo Beach their winter home and enjoy family-fun festivities including face painting, crafts, games, cake, and more.

Team Annie Blood Drive
11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Subway parking lot, 8789 El Camino Real, Atascadero
Six-year-old cancer survivor Annie Blake and her family host their fifth blood drive.

Moonlight Hike
4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
Los Flores Ranch Park, 6271 Dominion Road, Santa Maria
Take a docent-led hike into the sunset and learn about the natural surroundings of the park. Moderate and advanced hikes will be available. Wear good walking/hiking shoes, dress warm and bring a flashlight. Glow sticks will be available for the kids. Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Miss San Luis Obispo County
5 p.m.
Spanos Theatre, Cal Poly
The Miss San Luis Obispo County competition is a preliminary to the Miss California and Miss America competitions. Young women and teens will compete for the title and scholarship money.

Montaña de Oro State Park & Trail Restoration Days
8 a.m.
Park headquarters at Spooners Cove, Montaña de Oro
Get dirty to help maintain the trails at Montaña de Oro. Tools will be provided. Bring your own snacks and water and wear long pants, long sleeves, sturdy shoes, a hat, and gloves.
