Rain chances return to the forecast but the system doesn't look strong

Posted: Updated:

A cold front is sliding down the coastline and NW winds will pick up Monday at 15-30mph.  High temps which have pushed or broke records much of the month will fall to below average.  Skies will be partly cloudy with occasional light showers possible.

Tuesday an upper low spins over the area which will continue the opportunities for a few showers here and there, but again the system looks starved for moisture to work with.

Wednesday-Saturday we'll return to the pattern of night and morning offshore flow with afternoon onshore winds and mild temps.  Highs in some of the coastal valleys could return to the 80s by the end of next week.  More rain is possible around the 20th but it doesn't look like a big storm.
