A trough of low pressure over California is keeping temperatures seasonal and in the low 50s to low 60s.

Wednesday is another morning of below freezing temperatures. A freeze warning is in effect until 9:00 a.m. Wednesday morning along San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties coastline and coastal valleys. Under this warning, lows will range from the high 20s to low 30s. Further inland, Cuyama Valley is under a hard freeze warning until 9:00 a.m. with morning temperatures in the mid-20s to high 20s. Under both warnings, these temperatures can be damaging to crops, outdoor pets, and livestock.

The beaches and coastal valleys will be in the high 50s to low 60s but temperatures are expected to be in the low 50s in the interior valleys.

Gentle to moderate winds are in the forecast for Wednesday afternoon and will be within a 10-20 mile per hour range, primarily increasing at the beaches and coastal valleys in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties.
