Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Here are some of the events happening around the Central Coast:

SATURDAY, FEB. 24

HEAL Fair
10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Lompoc Valley Medical Center, 1515 E. Ocean Ave.
Learn about healthy eating and active living from a variety of local vendors and organizations. The event will include Zumba, Crossfit and yoga classes, entertainment including Polynesian dancers and live music, plus healthy meals for sale.

Valentine Haunted House
7-10 p.m.
The Haunt in Atascadero, 5805 El Camino Real
The "Heartache Hotel" offers a spooky alternative to roses and candy this Valentine's season.

Santa Maria Philharmonic Society presents "Journey of the Heart"
7:30 p.m.
Grace Baptist Church, 605 E. McCoy Lane, Santa Maria
The symphony will perform Copland's "Appalachian Spring," Mahler's "Adagietto from Symphony No. 5," and Mendelssohn's "Symphony No. 4, Italian."

Cal Poly Arab Music Ensemble Winter Concert
8 p.m.
The Cal Poly Arab Music Ensemble and guest artists will perform a variety of music and dance from the Eastern Mediterranean and surrounding region.

SLO Comedy Festival

The SLO Comedy Festival runs from Feb. 22-25 at nine venues in San Luis Obispo County, featuring 40 comedians from around the world. The event wraps up with a "Best of the Fest" on Sunday at the Fremont Theatre.
