Paso Robles community pools money for new aquatic center

The Paso Robles community is pooling together for a new aquatic center.

The group "We Swim Paso" raised more than $3,000 at a fundraiser this week with the goal to build an aquatic center on the campus of Paso Robles High School.

Their goal is to raise nearly $2 million.

More than $5.5 million of state funds are allocated towards the construction of the Olympic sized swimming pool and community pool, money that comes from Measure M.
