A high-pressure system is continuing to build over California, which is bringing temperatures up to the low 70s in certain areas.

Daytime highs for San Luis Obispo, Los Alamos, and Arroyo Grande could reach the low 70s, while other areas like Paso Robles, Santa Maria, and Santa Barbara will remain in the high 60s on Monday.

There will be breezy conditions Monday throughout most of the Central Coast. Afternoon winds in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties could reach 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 20 mph.

Looking ahead to the middle of the week, models indicate that rain could touch down Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. Light scattered showers are expected for this system but it's looking like it will only last through Friday before conditions clear for the weekend.
