3.7 magnitude quake shakes SLO/Kern County line

A 3.7 magnitude earthquake shook far eastern San Luis Obispo County Wednesday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake struck at about 10:05 a.m. and was centered near the San Luis Obispo-Kern county line, about 22 miles southeast of Cholame.

It occurred along the San Andreas fault zone.

There are only a few reports of people feeling weak shaking from the quake and no reports of damage or injury.
