The current storm system will continue to linger overnight in the mountains.

Saturday's rainfall totals were about a half an inch in most areas.

There is a change of light precipitation Monday through Wednesday, then a stronger storm moves into the forecast area on Thursday.

A strong cold front is expected to move across the Central Coast along with the storm with winds around 25-40 mph.

Total rainfall amounts with this particular system could see between 1.50 and three inches of rain.

Daytime highs are expected to be 3-5 degrees warmer Monday as the warmest valleys and a few inland coastal areas will reach the lower 70s. Otherwise, most areas will remain in the 60s.

Expect slight cooling in the temperatures on Tuesday into Wednesday.
