Smoke alarm triggers lockdown at Arroyo Grande High School

Posted: Updated:

A lockdown Monday morning at Arroyo Grande High School has been lifted.

A school spokesperson says the lockdown was put in place because a smoke alarm was triggered and the fire department had to be called in to clear it.

According to Arroyo Grande police, the activated smoke alarm was located in a locker room bathroom.

There was no fire.

All students are said to be safe.
