Inspired Health and Fitness Expo to feature 'American Ninja Warrior' finalist

Posted: Updated:

For those looking to get in shape, the Inspired Health and Fitness Expo is this weekend in San Luis Obispo.

It's taking place at the Alex Madonna Expo Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. There, you can meet with local health and fitness professionals, attend educational seminars and get free medical testing. Saturday is "body wellness day" and Sunday is "mental wellness day" at the expo.

Central Coast Gymnastics is also presenting a Ninja Agility Challenge for kids. A contestant from the TV show "American Ninja Warrior" will also be there.

"We're gonna have a ninja contest for all different ages," said Grant McCartney, who was a finalist on "American Ninja Warrior" in 2015 and 2016. "I'll be helping to host and MC that, really stirring up the kids. What are their ninja names? You know, seeing how they do. Give them some techniques to maybe get through the course. And throughout the weekend, rain or shine, it's gonna be a blast over there."
