UPDATE: Power being restored in San Luis Obispo

UPDATE: By 7:21 a.m., PG&E reported power had been restored to all but 231 customers. Power was expected to be full restored by 9 a.m.


By approximately 6 a.m on Tuesday, more than 2,800 PG&E customers were without power in San Luis Obispo.

San Luis Obispo City Fire officials were working on a tree that had hit power lines on Loomis Street, which reportedly caused the power outage.

The area along Grand Street from Monterey Street up to Cal Poly are experiencing the outage.

PG&E expects the power outage to last until about 9 a.m.
