    A ruptured gas line brought traffic to a stop in Santa Maria. The intersection of McCoy Lane and Depot Street was closed down at 3 p.m. Wednesday. Police officers say a construction crew ruptured a gas line. The line was repaired and the intersection was re-opened an hour later.
