Several businesses in San Luis Obispo have reported being targeted by telemarketers through the website Greenbusinesscoalition.org Employers say the website adds businesses to a "green" business directory without their permission and charges about $50 per month to their phone bill. New county sanitation system saves thousands on utilities

A sanitation plant in Oceano is going green, saving San Luis Obispo County thousands of dollars. A new system installed at the water pollution control plant will recycle the methane gas generated by the facility. It will turn that gas into both electrical energy and heat for the boilers.... more »
