Cancer survivors will be honored this weekend at French Hospital Medical Center. Local swim team donates $9k to French Hospital's cancer center

PUMA, a local aquatic team, has donated $9,000 to French Community Hospital's Hearst Cancer Resource Center. The swim club raised the money at its second annual Pumpkin Classic Swim Meet during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. An 11 year-old girl is doing her part to find a cure for cancer. After losing her grandmother to cancer, 6th grader, Emily Flachman decided to create a non-profit organization called, Kids 4 Kures.
