The teenage driver who struck and killed a 56-year old woman in Lompoc Friday night is the daughter of a Lompoc policeman. Students at Cal Poly lost a close friend over the weekend. 21-year-old Matthew Hurlbutt was hit by a car early Sunday morning while walking across the freeway.
