4.3 earthquake felt in San Luis Obispo County

Some northern San Luis Obispo County residents may have felt a shake this afternoon. The USGS reports a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was centered about 17 miles north east of San Miguel at about 3:40 p.m. There are no reports of damages or injuries at this time. more » -
Nipomo structure fire caused $200,000 in damage

Cal Fire says crews contained a structure fire in the 500 block of Stanton Road in Nipomo at about 10:40 a.m. Monday. Investigators say the fire caused $200,000 in damage, but that $500,000 in damage was prevented. They say the majority of damage was to the back bedroom... more »
