Junior Chad Brodhead scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Cabrillo High boys basketball team by Morro Bay 78-57 on Thursday in a Los Padres League game between last year's co-league champions.

Cabrillo improved to 1-0 in league and 5-5 overal, while the Pirates dropped to 1-1 in LPAL
