The Cal Poly women's basketball team defeated Pacific 63-49 to earn the programs first ever trip to the NCAA tournament on Saturday in Anaheim. Junior Molly Schlemer garnered tournament MVP honors with sophomore Ariana Elegado earned all-tournament.

The Cal Poly women's basketball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the first-time in school history. The Mustangs upset top seeded Pacific on Saturday to win their first-ever Big West Tournament title and captured the program's first-ever berth to the Big Dance.
