The Cal Poly women's volleyball team beat Idaho in a grueling five-set match on Thursday in its home opener to hand first year head coach Sam Crosson his first win.

The Mustangs won 25-27, 25-23, 25-18, 16-25 and 15-9 to improve to 1-3 on the season, while Idaho dropped to 2-2.
