Posted 12:02 PM 10/7/2011 : SB Co. Animal Services reports outbreak of Parvovirus in Santa Maria area

Santa Barbara County Animal Services is warning pet owners to make sure their dogs are vaccinated after a recent spike in the number of Parvovirus cases in the northern part of the county.

The Santa Maria Animal Shelter says it has seen 15 confirmed cases of Parvovirus come to its shelter
