The Cal Poly baseball team has climbed six spots to 21st in this week's Collegiate Baseball Newspaper national Division I poll. The Mustangs are also ranked for the first time this season in the USA Today Coaches Poll at number 25. They're also up three spots to 25th in the National Collegiate

After all five of his hits went for extra bases, Cal Poly right fielder Nick Torres received the Big West Baseball Field Player of the Week award.
The sophomore tallied two doubles and three home runs and 7 RBI in a 2-1 series victory at the University of Washington. He hit .417 (5 for 12)
