Former Morro Bay High standout Dylan Royer has gone from a walk-on with the Cal Poly basketball team to a full scholarship player.

Head coach Joe Callero has awarded Royer a full scholarship next year with the Mustangs. He praised his sharp shooter on his Twitter page late Monday night.
