The Coast Guard and Air National Guard rescued three fishermen from a sinking boat in the waters off the Central Coast Thursday.

The group was 125 nautical miles southwest of Point Piedras Blancas when their 85-foot boat took on water.

Point Piedras Blancas is north of Cambria.
