Until hurricane Isaac movies inland it'll have access to additional moisture keeping the storm strong, and potentially even allowing some strengthening.  10-20+ inches of rain is possible for parts of southern Louisiana.  Isaac made landfall at the Mississippi River Delta around 6:45pm
