Loaded with a crop of fresh faces, the Mission Prep girls basketball team opened the season with a 41-39 win over visiting Bishop Diego on Wednesday night.

The Royals pulled down 20 offensive rebounds, eight of them went to Noelle Laird. The freshman finished with 17 points and 11 rebounds
