The local firefighter who rode his bike across the country in 36 days is going back to work Thursday.

John Byrne's started his ride on September 9th from San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge, and ended at New York's Brooklyn Bridge on October 15th. His ride totaled 3,401 miles. John
