Posted 3:45 PM 11/10/2012 : UPDATE: Officials say wildland fire on Vandenberg Air Force Base is out
According to officials with Vandenberg Air Force Base, a wildland fire that broke out Saturday afternoon is completely out.
The fire broke out around 12:30 p.m. on North base and burned 70 acres.
No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported, but 20 people were evacuated

Officials at Vandenberg Air Force Base say a vegetation fire has broken out on north base.It happened Saturday afternoon around 1 p.m.They say they have a helicopter and crews on the way.They do not know at this point how big the fire is.Stay with KSBY for more on this
