Police say a Santa Barbara woman returned home to find a burglar inside. It happened Friday afternoon in the 700 block of Juanita Avenue.

Police say Celedonio Aguirre, 44, told the woman he was looking for his pet before taking off with about $1,000 worth of jewelry and coins.
