Today's Moore tornado is often compared to the 1999 tornado in the same town.
The 1999 Moore, OK tornado was an F5, back in the pre-Enhanced Fujita scale.

The incredible amount of debris associated with the Moore, OK tornado earlier today tells a real story about the power of the storm. As I write this the official estimate is an EF-4 tornado, but I would be surprised if this were not upgraded to an EF-5.

The National Weather Service issued a wind advisory for Santa Barbara County until three Sunday morning. North to northwest winds between 20-30 miles per hour will develop through and below passes and canyons. Exercise caution while driving along the 101 and 154 highway and through the 5 corridor.
