A ridge of high pressure causing the baking heat is starting to shift to more southwesterly flow at the mid and upper levels. That'll have a few impacts: it'll cool slightly but also allow subtropical moisture to sneak into the Central Coast in the form of higher humidity and upper level clouds. Thursday and Friday there may be a small chance of a few showers and thunderstorms but generally I think the leftovers from Odile are a miss for us. There is also a frontal system passing to our north on Wednesday into Thursday that'll push rain into Monterey county but probably not here. Otherwise, night and morning low clouds and fog and increasing northwesterly winds are expected. Weather warms again Sunday into next week.
