End of April could bring several chances of rain

Clouds from an upper level system streaming over the area today (along with the early low clouds) will produce cooler temps today. There is a slight chance of a few scattered drops of precip but generally speaking most will stay dry. After this system departs strong winds will develop Friday through the weekend. The upside is that skies will clear out however winds could peak past 30mph at times in the afternoons through Monday. Conditions for the Easter weekend will have temps in the 80s inland with 70s in the coastal valleys and 60s for highs at the beaches. If the weekend winds seem strong, wait until next week as very strong NW winds could dominate next week. There is a slight chance of rain Tuesday with a frontal passage, though if it does rain it should be pretty light. However models now suggest the last week of the month could feature several systems with decent rain potential.
